These terms cover your use of this website and summarise how bookings with Sulit Design Studio work. When you book, three documents form your booking: your signed Client Agreement, your accepted quotation or invoice, and the current Investment Guide. If anything on this page differs from your signed Agreement, your Agreement applies.
Sulit Design Studio is a wedding design studio in Durbanville, Cape Town, South Africa, run by Elaine Mouton since 2018. All communication is by email at info@sulitdesign.co.za, in English or Afrikaans.
The Studio designs wedding websites (Horizon and Crest), Bespoke wedding identities, The Invitation (a digital save the date and interactive invitation) and wedding-day stationery. The Studio provides design services and digital files only. Printing, production, delivery, installation and venue setup are not offered.
Horizon and Crest are built on the Studio’s established website structures and personally styled for each couple. The underlying structure stays consistent and is used for other couples; structural changes, new layouts and custom functionality are quoted.
Prices on this website are starting prices in South African Rand. Amounts in other currencies are a guide only. The price accepted for your booking is honoured for the agreed scope, and later changes to published prices do not apply retrospectively.
Only the items listed in your selected service or accepted quotation are included. Information in your questionnaire does not automatically become part of your scope. Extra pages, events, artwork, stationery pieces, languages or functionality are quoted and paid for before they begin.
Turnaround is counted in business days from complete content: Horizon 5–10, Crest 7–10, The Invitation 7. Bespoke is developed in phases leading up to your wedding, and stationery timing is confirmed in your quotation. The turnaround period starts once payment, your signed Agreement and your complete content have been received. Turnaround times are estimates, and late content, feedback or payment pauses the project.
Horizon and Crest include a .co.za domain and 12 months’ hosting; Bespoke includes a .com or .co.za domain and 12 months’ hosting. A registered domain cannot be renamed. Extended hosting is available yearly, and if hosting is not renewed the website may be taken offline at the end of the hosting period. Wedding websites are private and not listed on Google, but the Studio cannot control how your link is shared once you send it.
Your website and RSVP rely on services outside the Studio’s direct control, including WordPress, Elementor, the hosting provider and domain registrar, Google Forms and Google Sheets. The Studio sets these up and tests them with reasonable care, but cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability.
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you supply, and for having the right to use it. The Studio styles the content you supply and does not provide copywriting, proofreading or translation unless quoted. Approval given by email is written approval, and errors contained in an approved proof are your responsibility.
Stationery is supplied as print-ready files. You choose and pay your printer, and the Studio is not responsible for colour variation, print quality, production errors or delays by third-party suppliers. Screens and printed materials show colour differently.
The Studio owns the copyright in its original work. Once your service has been paid in full, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use your final files for your own wedding. Source files, working files, layered files and font files are never supplied, and the work may not be resold, used as a template or supplied to another designer to reproduce without written permission.
The Studio may show completed work in its portfolio, website and social media. If you would prefer privacy, please let the Studio know in writing before work begins. Guest information and private website links are never published.
Email is the official channel for all project communication. Instructions given by WhatsApp, social media, telephone or voice note are not binding until confirmed by email. Studio hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00–16:00 and Friday 09:00–15:00. The studio is closed on weekends, public holidays and annually from mid-December to mid-January.

The Studio performs its services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, the Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.
All designs, artwork, website layouts, photographs created by the Studio, monograms and written content on this website belong to Sulit Design Studio and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Portfolio examples show the Studio’s style; your own project is designed around your wedding. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and the Studio is not responsible for their content.
These terms are governed by South African law. Concerns are first discussed in good faith by email.
